IKEA, FB App "Τα κεφτεδάκια μας"

"What's in this IKEA meatball recipe?"

IKEA, in collaboration with GT Digital developed an exciting new application to support the launching of the 2016 Catalogue.


The FB app aimed at promoting the new IKEA catalogue theme, which was the kitchen and food.


A FB App was created, inviting users to engage in a recipe-related competition.


The FB Application titled «TA KEFTEDAKIA MAS» invited Facebook users to participate in the competition by completing a registration form with their name, email and mobile number. Participants were then asked to identify the right ingredients used in the featured IKEA meatball recipes.

The recipes were available for saving and printing as well through printer friendly files. Participants were also able to increase their chances of winning by sharing the competition among their own Facebook friends. All registered contestants entered the draw for the chance to win a set of 18-piece dinnerware VÄRDERA. Three lucky contestants were selected at random from the pool of entries made via the Facebook application and received their gifts.
