Hellenic Bank sponsored the Alkistis Protopsalti Concert Show held in Cyprus between 8 and 10 May 2015 and was looking for options to promote the event on Facebook. GT Digital in collaboration with the bank’s advertising agency Pandora Ogilvy Cyprus created a fun Facebook application to promote the event.
The mechanism involved fans providing their details along with a friend with whom they would like to attend the concert. Fans were then automatically entered in the draw for the chance of winning 2 free tickets to the concert.
The interaction of the fans was remarkable as it allowed:
• fans to choose a friend
• Hellenic bank to enhance their brand image from the viral exposure and the buzz created by the concert extending to the friends of their fans.
• Hellenic bank to grow their fan base on Facebook
Overall 40 Concert tickets were given as a gift by Hellenic Bank in this Facebook promotion.
This project is an example of GT digital’s, B2B services with advertising agencies and it illustrates the efficiency of such dynamic teams!
