Cablenet collaborated with GT digital in an effort to promote its cable subscription packages via a new and engaging mobile and social media marketing channel!

Cablenet Communication Systems participated in the International Education Fair 2015 held in Nicosia on 28/2/15 - 1/3/15 with its own exhibition stand. A custom application on the GT Kiosks was deployed to support its presence at the fair. 

The purpose was to drive visitors at the Educational fair to the Cablenet stand where they would be offered the chance to enter a FREE competition and win an iPad as well as discount vouchers to redeem against any new cable subscription.

Visitors at the fair were invited by dedicated staff to participate in the competition by completing a participation form with their personal details through a GT interactive kiosk application developed by GT Digital.

Visitors were offered the option of sharing the competition with their friends via Facebook to gain additional entries into the draw.

Cablenet was successful in its promotion and managed to accomplish 3 targets:

  • Collect valuable opt-in data of visitors (potential students) who were motivated in participating in the competition
  • Increase sales of its cable subscription packages by offering incentives to all participants in the form of discount vouchers printed via the GT Digital interactive kiosks installed in the stand.
  • Increase its Facebook Page ‘Likes’
