American Embassy in Cyprus was seeking an easy, fast, reliable, and confidential, one to one channel of communication between the administration and the staff. An additional requirement was the personalization of each SMS with the recipients’ identification details displayed on each SMS without the requirement of complex activities.
Idea & Implementation
Bulk SMS service was employed, as a means of a one-to-one communication channel to reach the staff directly and personally. SMS messages concerning safety issues, security alerts, reminders and invitations to events started to be sent through the administration offices via Golden Telemedia’s Web Bulk SMS service.
Objectives
Personal communication with staff and accurate transfer of directions were among the objectives. Personalized SMSs were also required.
Results
American Embassy managed to communicate effectively and inexpensively on a regular basis with its staff. Significant increase in communication standards was established.
