Based on the previous successful results of the Mini Cooper Cabrio campaign GT Digital launched a new mobile marketing campaign. With the ultimate prize being a Renault Megane Coupe Cabriolet the implementation of this campaign involved ANT1 TV station, and Dome Cars Ltd, the official importer of Renault cars.

Idea & Implementation

Through aggressive TV exposure including TV Spots related to the car’s promotional concepts, Infomercials, and Print Media, consumers were invited to participate by sending a keyword via SMS to a short code. An instant reply included a general knowledge question which was answered by participants.

In addition to the big prize which would be won at the end of the competition in a live draw, participants could also win instant prizes such as Plasma Tvs.

Objectives

Generate income through SMS received and provide a powerful advertising exposure for the Renault Megane Coupe Cabriolet.

Results

Consumers once again were thrilled with this new car competition, which resulted in a significant generation of revenue and brand awareness of the new Renault Megane Coupe Cabriolet.
