SoEasy Stores, Scratch and Win!

Through 2 different Scratch & Win Card campaigns, SoEasy Stores aimed at boosting sales at its convenient stores nationwide and at the same time collecting a valuable OPT-IN database of its customers for future promotional activities.

Idea & Implementation

SoEasy Stores ran two “Scratch & Win” campaigns prior to Christmas 2010 period. With every purchase from any SoEasy Store, customers received a Scratch & Win Card.
Through the Scratch & Win Cards, customers had the opportunity to win instant prizes. At the same time, each Scratch & Win Card had a unique code which customers had to register by SMS and therefore enter the draw to win a Scooter Sym Orbit 125cc.

In order to become eligible and enter the draw to win a Scooter Sym Orbit, participants had to send their personal details by SMS along with their unique code.

Objectives

SoEasy Stores through this unique format of promotional campaign was able to offer the opportunity to thousands of customers to win instant prizes and a Scooter Sym Orbit through the scratch & win cards. This had the effect of creating an instant buzz and increasing foot traffic at their stores hence boosting sales in all of its convenient stores nationwide.

SoEasy also aimed at using the campaigns to collect valuable OPT-IN database with clients’ demographic details for future promotional activities by the company.

Results

Entry results of the 2 campaigns prior to the Christmas period were phenomenal and a large but yet valuable OPT-IN database was created. The campaign also resulted in a significant increase of sales throughout all the SoEasy Stores nationwide.
