ANT1, A.I. MOTOKINISI, and themobilemarketing.com introduced a GT Digital Mobile Marketing activity. Through various innovative mechanisms, the companies were able to collect a valuable OPTI-IN database of customers’ data with the prospect to be used for future promotional activities.

Idea & Implementation

Data collection from data collection spots and Scratch & Win Cards

Upon entering the 2010 Motorshow, GTs’ promotional staff gave away thousands of Porsche Scratch & Win Cards. Those could lead participants to instant Porsche collectable gifts. At the same time participants were invited to visit GT Digital’s kiosk and enter their details into the free sweepstake and win the Porsche Boxster.

Bluetooth technology was also used to drive traffic into the kiosk while promotional videos of Porsche Boxster Competition where sent.

Objectives

GT Digital through a unique promotional campaign of offering the chance to win Porsche collectable gifts through the scratch & win cards, aimed to create buzz around the Porsche Boxster competition. At the same time by entering the draw for the Porsche Boxster aimed to collect valuable opt-in database of customers’ data with the prospect to be used for future promotional activities.

Results

Entry results were remarkable and exceeded 18,000 entries, where the total number of people visiting the Motorshow was 50,000. Valuable opt-in database was collected, which includes beside demographical data, data like current car people are driving, in how many years will they buy a car, what car they will buy, e.t.c. At the same time great buzz was created around the competition.
