KES College, Educational Fair 2013

KES College boosts its enrollment level in Cyprus with an engaging application combining social media, photo sharing and interactive kiosks.

KES College in association with GT Digital launched a GT Photo Kiosk promotional campaign during the educational Fair held between 1 and 3 March 2013. As a result, KES College strengthened the image of its institution and improved the communication with potential students in an engaging and novel way using Facebook.

Idea & Implementation

GT Photo Kiosks were placed within KES College’s booth space at the Fair.

The use of GT Digital's Photo Kiosk with Facebook Integration was a unique way to engage with KES College’s booth visitors.

Visitors were invited to login into their Facebook account, Like KES College Facebook page, complete their personal details and choosing their preferred field of study and then share their experience by snapping their photo via a camera embedded in the kiosk. Visitors’ photo was then posted on their facebook timeline and on KES college Facebook page for sharing with friends.

Finally discount coupons were printed for every visitor participating, which could be redeemed upon enrolment at the College.

Objectives

The campaign aimed at:

• Creating an invaluable Opt-In database of prospective students to join KES College
   educational establishment,

• Establishing a one-to-one communication between the college and its potential 
   students

• Increasing attendance of visitors at KES College’s booth during the exhibition,

• Increasing traffic to its website

• and most importantly increasing enrolment levels

Results

The campaign was a success as it allowed visitors to engage in a fun and interactive way. The college was able to create an invaluable database of potential students with whom to communicate with and to gain more exposure for the College in the new social media arena.
