Char. Pilakoutas Ltd, Text & Win Competition

BMW 320i COUPE

ANT1 in cooperation with Ch. Pilakoutas Ltd and GT Digital wanted to develop and run an SMS text competition, ‘Text & Win’, involving a big prize for the winner. The prize was a BMW 320i Coupé with a market value of €41,177.

The Text & Win competition lasted for 6 months (from 01/07/07 until 31/1/08) and the only thing that the public had to do to participate was to send an SMS text and receive by return a unique code.

At the end of the competition a random draw was held to select the winner of the BMW 320i Coupé. The draw involved the picking of a random code number from a pool of codes which were issued to all the participants during the competition period. The holder of the winning code claimed the prize.

The draw was held on 19/02/08 at Ch. Pilakoutas’ showrooms in Nicosia in front of a big public crowd.

ANT1’s competition was extremely successful as demonstrated by the sizeable number of registered entries. At the same time the campaign gave the opportunity to ANT1 to create a significant OPT-IN database and most importantly to strengthen their brand image and visibility.
